Frontman is a licensed Hannovarian stallion, Sired by the succesful Grand Prix stallion, For Romance. The champion stallion, winner of the main premium, Bundeschampionat qualifier and Burg-Pokal finalist was honored for this as VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year.

Dam sire, Dancier,  produced 85 State Premium Mares and over 20 licensed sons. His father was the Grand Prix proginator, De Niro, who made a sledge hammer imnpression when six of his offspring were nominated for the Olympic games in London! De Niro won a great deal of honorary titles, including the title of ‘Stallion of the Year’ . In 2001, De Niro won the German Championship, In 2002, he won the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special in both Saumur and Berlin and they then won the dressage derby in Hamburg.
