A highly talented 5-year-old, Rastina combines modern dressage genetics with a particularly strong performance lineage, bringing together Grand Prix competition and award-winning mares across several generations.

Her father Furst Zonik PS was named Champion Stallion a premium stallion and has since developed into ZZ – Advanced level. He is the son of Fürstenball, who was himself competed at Small Tour level and went on to become one of the most influential dressage sires of his generation.

Of particular interest is the dam of Fürst Zonik PS: Zantana RS2 N.O.P. Among other things, she holds the title of Sport(dr) and enjoyed a successful career right up to Grand Prix level. Zantana is a daughter of GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P., the international Grand Prix stallion who, under Edward Gal, was among the world’s best for many years.

Rastina’s direct dam line is also very well established. Her dam Zartina has the predicates preferential, performance and star and is a daughter of Rousseau. Through Rousseau, the bloodline of the Olympic Grand Prix stallion runs Ferro in the pedigree.

The next generation once again highlights the strength of this parent strain. Grandmother Rastina has the predicates ‘Keur’, ‘Preferent’ and ‘Prestatie’ and is a daughter of the legendary Grand Prix stallion Jazz.
