This promising 2-year-old colt combines modern stallion qualities with an exceptionally strong Grand Prix dam line.

His Sire Escaneno was appointed as premium stallion and is the son of Escamillo, also a premium stallion and one of the most promising sons of Escolar. Through Escamillo and Escolar, this young stallion carries some of the most highly regarded bloodlines in modern German dressage breeding.

The dam line, in particular, stands out. His mother Vilona, Oldenburg Breeding Award and Studbook I, is a daughter of Valverde, which is itself being successfully released on Grand Prix level. Valverde is the son of the influential Vitalis and comes from Amicella, a Staatsprämie mare who also competed in Grand Prix level was released.

This tried-and-tested sport continues into the next generation. Grandmother Ilona, elite, IBOP (Drs) and PROK, is a subsidiary of Jazz, himself a Grand Prix competitor and, for many years, one of the world’s most influential dressage sires.
