The Beethoven, a 7-year-old gelding is being trained at an advanced level and has a particularly interesting dressage pedigree, combining proven Grand Prix bloodlines with a successful dam line.

Father Benicio was bred to Grand Prix level and is a son of Belissimo M, also a Grand Prix horse and a stallion who has had a significant influence on German dressage breeding. Through the Staatsprämie mare Valencia Furthermore, this paternal line carries the blood of Velten Third.

Beethoven’s mother Touch My Soul is a daughter of the legendary Totilas, three-time world champion and former world record holder. Through Totilas, there is also Gribaldi in his pedigree, one of the most influential dressage sires of his generation.

The quality of this dam line is further emphasised by Bondolo, also a son of Touch My Soul. This stallion, born in 2021, was approved in 2023 and shares the same dam line with Bonds as a father.
