The talented Gatsby has proved particularly successful in the lower dressage classes. His scores have never been below 70%. In addition, he achieved no fewer than 10 wins, with scores of up to 80%.

His pedigree is also particularly impressive. Gatsby combines the exceptional sporting career of Glamourdale with the proven hereditary strength of Millennium.

His Sire Glamourdale, ridden by Charlotte Fry, ranks amongst the very best in the world of modern dressage. After he World Champion in the seven-year-old dressage horses category Once he had done so, he went on to reach the very highest level. At the World Championships, he won individual gold in both the Grand Prix Special as the Free Skating to Music, achieving a spectacular score in the free skate of 90,654% achieved.

Glamourdale is a son of Lord Leatherdale out of a mare by Negro, which also includes the blood of the legendary father of the Olympic champion Valegro can be traced back through Gatsby’s paternal line.

Gatsby’s mother Munchkin St Giles is a daughter of Millennium, Trakehner Stallion of the Year 2022 and one of the most influential dressage sires of his generation. Millennium is a son of Easy Game, who is, amongst other things, the father of a multiple Olympic, World and European champion TSF Dalera BB, and dates back to the legendary Gribaldi.

With Glamourdale, Negro, Millennium, Easy Game and Gribaldi Gatsby’s pedigree combines international championship achievements with some of the most established bloodlines in modern dressage breeding. Coupled with his own remarkably consistent competition results, this makes him a particularly interesting sport horse for the future.
