Night Star is a gelding born in 2018 who has now competed successfully at ZZ-Zwaar level. He is being trained to Prix St George standard and possesses all the talent required for the higher levels. His pedigree comprises several generations of proven dressage pedigree, with Grand Prix achievements on both the sire’s and dam’s sides.

Father In Style was released independently up to and including the Small Tour. He is the son of Eye-Catcher, the two-time World Champion in the young dressage horses category, who later progressed to Grand Prix level. Through Eye Catcher, we also find Vivaldi, one of the key pioneers of modern Dutch dressage breeding.

Night Star’s dam line is also particularly sport-oriented. Dam Zuskarla holds the designations ‘elite’, ‘IBOP (dr)’, ‘PROK’ and ‘sport (dr)’ and was itself bred in the Z2 dressage. She is the daughter of Scandic, who, under Patrik Kittel, was among the world’s best for many years and, amongst other achievements, won an individual bronze medal at the European Championships. Scandic, through his father, Solos Carex Grand Prix pedigree proven once again.

The sporting achievements have continued from one generation to the next. Grandmother Noraline also competed in Z2 dressage, whilst behind them were the elite, preferente, prestatie, PROK and sport(dr) mares Harla by oneself to ZZ-Light was released. Harla is the daughter of Cocktail, the Grand Prix stallion who also went on to make a significant mark as the sire of Jazz, amongst others.

With Eye Catcher, Vivaldi, Scandic, Solos Carex and Cocktail Through his pedigree and his own performances at ZZ-Zwaar level, Night Star combines proven sporting ability with a dam line in which dressage talent has been firmly established for generations.
