Information

Phantom combines modern dressage genetics with a particularly competitive dam line, in which performance and titles have been firmly established across several generations.

His Sire Le Formidable was named, as a young stallion, champion of the KWPN stallion inspection and has since developed into ZZ Light Level. He is the son of Bordeaux, who himself enjoyed a successful career right up to Grand Prix level and also went on to become an influential sire of international dressage horses.

The dam line behind Le Formidable is also strong. His dam Vienna has the predicates Elite, Preferred, Performance and PROK and is a daughter of the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Ferro.

Phantom’s mother Kindly Colour holds the KWPN predicate Sports (PhD) and was released by the Z2 dressage. She is the daughter of Jazz, who competed at Grand Prix level himself and went on to become one of the most influential dressage sires of his generation. Through Jazz, moreover, Cocktail, also successful in international Grand Prix competitions, in the pedigree.

This sporting quality is carried through the direct dam line. Grandmother Living Colour II has the predicates Elite, IBOP (M.A.) and Sport (PhD) and was successfully competed up to Small Tour level.

With Le Formidable in Bordeaux on her father’s side and a sports-loving mother from Jazz from a Light Tour mare, Phantom combines modern dressage genetics with a dam line that has proven itself in the sport over several generations.
