Information

Vagabond is an exceptionally talented and intelligent horse with a pedigree that brings together several generations of internationally proven Grand Prix bloodlines, combined with a particularly strong Dutch dam line.

His Sire Vitalis is one of the most influential dressage sires in modern breeding. He is a son of Vivaldi, who, via the Grand Prix stallion Krack C traces back to a proven sporting pedigree and, as a preferred stallion, has had an enormous influence on international dressage breeding. Vitalis’s dam line is also particularly valuable: his grandmother Tolivia, elite, preferent, prestatie and PROK, comes from the well-known Utopia tribe.

The Grand Prix sport is also deeply rooted on his mother’s side. Vagabond’s mother Rumi is a daughter of Blue Hors Zack, who enjoyed many years of success on the international Grand Prix circuit and also went on to become a leading sire of international dressage horses.

The next generation once again brings proven Grand Prix pedigree via Romanov, who performed at the very highest level himself and has also proven his worth as a dressage sire.

With Vitalis, Vivaldi, Krack C, Blue Hors Zack and Romanov Vagabond brings together an impressive line-up of stallions who have made their mark both in international competition and in breeding. His combination of talent, intelligence and strong genetic background makes him a particularly interesting dressage horse for the future.
